"Aiming to enhance and improve well being and etc"

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession, considering the animal as a whole and focuses on restoring movement and function.  It is an essential part of rehabilitation after injury and can help reduce recovery times and enhance recovery outcomes.  Physiotherapy also has an important role in optimising performance and preventing injuries in competition horses and working/sporting dogs.

T.A Physiotherapy Services is fully insured providing physiotherapy for humans, equines and small animals, with a clinic located just south of Lincoln, approximately 1 mile from Bracebridge Heath.  The service is run by Trudi Allen, a Category A Member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT), a professional network group of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). ACPAT is widely considered to be the gold standard in animal physiotherapy, striving to promote an ever improving service to animals through Continual Professional Development.  Trudi is also a member of RAMP (Register for Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners), demonstrating she is trained to a high standard and is committed to providing the best possible care to your patients.

Patients can be referred directly from the Veterinarian or Veterinary approval can be obtained prior to the physiotherapy assessment. In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, Veterinary consent is required by law prior to physiotherapy.   The consent form can be downloaded HERE or Trudi can contact your Veterinarian prior to assessment.
